Workshops
Jorge offers three different workshops:
NADA YOGA - SACRED SOUNDS
"Healing with the power of elemental sounds"
The ancient science of Nada Yoga presented in a contemporary and useable way. Explaining the power of Creation's energy from spirit to matter and utilizing the vibration of elemental sounds (earth, water, fire, air and ether) to heal our selves and others. We will learn about chanting the Bija mantras, Biosonic Reparttening, Polarity Therapy, Meditation and Prayer, Breathing sounds, Sui Zen (Blowing Meditation), Cleansing Movements, Cimatics, Pythagorean tuning forks, Wacos (Peruvian whistling vessels), Gongs, and much more.
Wear comfortable clothing, no knowledge of music is
necessary.
ANDEAN SPIRITUALITY
" The path of the Heart"
While Indian and Asian spirituality was developing and growing over the centuries to what we know today as some of the greater religions and spiritual choices, what was happening in South America? Due to the invasion of the conquistadors, we don't have a clear answer to this question. In this unique workshop, Jorge will explain and share what he has learnt from the elders of the Andes mountains.
You will learn about how it is possible to live a life in perfect harmony with the Universe by understanding the communion with living elements. This is a great and rare opportunity to experience a non-dogmatic spiritual path that will set you free into life. This teachings come from a lineage of more than 40.000 years back to the time of MU.
Jorge will explain the history of the teachings,
energy concepts, the "Chakana" key of spiritual evolution, learn the identity of
our real forefathers and creators, life purpose, belts of power, healing
rituals, prayer and meditations, ritualistic music, Solar disc, Lemurian
artifacts, shamanism and much more.
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
"The portal to spiritual freedom"
The great seers and teachers of the world all agree that unconditional love is the key to open the portal to the next dimension. The great Elders of South America call it "MUNAY", the energy that holds the whole Universe together, the glue that keeps it from collapsing.
In this workshop you will learn how this Energy is present in everything that exists around us, including our RELATIONSHIPS. You will see how it is possible to re-arrange old patterns when you see the MUNAY in it, an energy so familiar but yet so distant to us. See your life expanding beyond the limits of your mind by using and understanding this particular energy which will open the portal to the next step in your spiritual evolution.
This will be a full day workshop.
Concerts
"THE SACRED FLUTE"
In this concert Jorge performs music from many different spiritual traditions. Played on the original instruments, this concert is a rare opportunity to listen and to be uplifted by a repertoire of sacred music from around the world. This also makes it into a cultural and a spiritual gathering of peace and unity.
Jorge will perform on rare instruments such as Shakuhachi (Japan) , Bansuri (Indian), Ney (Turkey), Native American flute, Quena (Peru), Mbira (Africa), Mocqseño (Argentina), Duduk (Armenia), and a Thin Whistle (Irish).
This concert usually goes together with the Nada Yoga - Sacred Sounds workshop.
"SPIRITUAL MUSIC OF THE ANDES"
This concert focus on pre-Colombian instruments and music. From bone flutes to Pan pipes and many different drums, this music is used in rituals and celebrations all trough the Andean Mountains. Jorge will introduce some of the stringed instruments used nowadays. All together a mesmerizing concert with an uplifting message.
This concert usually goes together with the "Andean Spirituality" workshop.
Jorge and his quartet take us on a journey to the popular music of South America by playing the most beautiful songs born out of a new race. Indigenous, Andean and European flavors like tangos, chacareras, milongas, zambas,ect, with a touch of contemporary improvisation makes this concert an unforgettable evening of cultural impact. The quartet is formed by guitar, piano, percussion and Jorge on the Quena (bamboo flute). Sometimes we add Bandoneon and Bass.
Jorge will perform his own compositions for Shakuhachi (Bamboo flute of Japan), music for meditations in temples or Japanese Zen gardens. Many times Jorge will perform with KOTO player (Japanese Harp) Yoshiko Carlton, a native of Japan. Also with FUSHU DAIKO ( Japanese drummers)
INDIAN SITAR and FLUTE MUSIC
Jorge will perform on the Sitar and the Bansuri ( Bamboo flute of India) Indian classical Hindustani music with a Tabla (percussion) player.
JAZZEN
This is Jorge's most recent formation a blend of Asian and Jazz with exotic and contemporary rhythms from around the world. Includes old instruments from China, Japan, Bali, Java, India, Vietnam and state of the art digital electronics. A great show of cultural impact.
The name JAZZEN is the combination of the two words Jazz and Zen ( from the Japanese-Chinese practice of meditation).
